	The BodyCam™ is a camera support system which allows the operator to easily move a film or video camera for a long distance; eliminating the unstable images and limited viewpoints associated with hand carrying a camera. It also makes the camera extremely mobile, allowing image gathering on sand, gravel, through forests, riverbeds, or up and down stairs and hills. This system can operate perfectly in places where space, environmental restrictions, time, or cost prohibits the use of a dolly.


	BodyCam™ moves the camera away from the operator’s eye, by providing a monitor for all viewfinding. Once seperated in this manner, the camera is able to travel into places, and be pointed in directions that would not be possible if the operator's head were positioned at the eyepiece. Now, the lens can be placed anywhere the arms can reach. Also, this arrangement allows the operator’s unblocked peripheral vision to see upcoming dangers or obstacles.

The BodyCam™ also prevents unwanted motion from being transferred to the camera. With one operating technique, extremely smooth and steady images are possible, rivaling that of a dolly on tracks. The patented dual stabilization system eliminates jerks, bumps and vibration which are caused by handling the camera. With the average video camera, stability is so great that lens focal lengths up to 125 mm are possible. With 35 mm film cameras, focal lengths up to 250 mm are useable!

There are two models available; L and XL:

Model L weighs 24 lbs. (10.9 Kg) without camera or batteries and will carry up to 25 lbs. (11.3 Kgs) of camera package (not counting the battery).

Model XL weighs 28 lbs. (12.7 Kg) without camera or battery and will carry up to 40 lbs. (18.2 Kg) of camera package (not counting battery).

There are options for wired or wireless, focus, zoom and iris controls.
